It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Jerry Eisley, who died peacefully at his daughter’s home in Baltimore, where he had been residing over the past six months. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him during this time of loss.
Jerry was a cherished member of Trinity Church and a beloved friend to many. His presence within the church community was both constant and uplifting, offering encouragement, kindness, and a deep sense of faith to all who crossed his path. As Artist in Residence for many years, Jerry brought creativity, vision, and inspiration to the church campus, enriching the lives of countless individuals through his work and his welcoming spirit.
He was known not only for his artistic gifts but also for his generosity and warmth. Jerry had a remarkable ability to make others feel at home, whether through his thoughtful hospitality or his genuine interest in the lives of those around him. His creativity extended beyond art—it was evident in the way he connected with people, dreamed up new ideas, and contributed to the vibrancy of the community he loved so deeply.
Jerry’s passing leaves a profound void, felt not only within Trinity Church but among all who were touched by his life, both near and far. Yet his legacy endures in the relationships he built, the faith he shared, and the inspiration he provided to so many.
As we mourn his loss, we also give thanks for a life lived with purpose, compassion, and devotion. We ask for prayers for the repose of his soul and for comfort and strength for his family during this difficult time.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” May Jerry Eisley rest in eternal peace.
